Science is all around us. The simplest act of cooking dinner can be a great lesson either in biology and chemistry. Science experiments are everywhere but oftentimes, we shift our minds to the major things we believe are actually the science. We only need to just know where to look, then you will find science exist everywhere.

Science can be very interesting and to some, they believe it’s less of dynamism and flavour because of its over-reliance on principles which must be followed.

Thomas Huxley asserted that, “Nothing can be more incorrect than the assumption one sometimes meets with, that Physics has one method, Chemistry another, and Biology a third.”

Observation is essential in science. We are developing our children to be great Scientists who will carefully employ observation to collect and record data. This enables them to construct and then test hypotheses and theories. On weekly basis, our students carry out different forms of observations and report their findings.

Just as scientists observe in many ways, with their own senses or with tools such as microscopes, scanners or transmitters to extend their vision or hearing, we equally furnish our students with the proper handling and use of these equipments to carry out their tasks.

Science experiments emphasize critical thinking skills, problem-solving techniques, communication skills and higher-order thinking among our students. We subscribe strongly to the nugget that ‘’learning science without practical work is like learning literature without reading books. ‘’

Hypothesis testing is a formal procedure for investigating our ideas about the world using statistics. It is most often used by scientists to test specific predictions.

This approach helps our students to analyze the strength of their claim on a data decision. Generally, it helps analysts to create a reliable environment for deciding on sample data.

Practical work confers many advantages, including developing laboratory skills and scientific knowledge, as well as understanding science concepts and theories.

Practical science activities have huge significance in the learning process. They engage our students, helping them to develop important skills, understand the process of scientific investigation and develop a broad understanding of scientific concepts.
